Capcom: Resident Evil 6 progress is “confidential”
Just days after a voice actor let the proverbial cat out of the bag, film actor Milla Jovovich has added fuel to stories that Capcom is working on Resident Evil 6.
Really, it’s no surprise – the company’s currently working on the next film adaptation of the super-popular franchise – but it’s still never been actively confirmed.
Today though, Milla posted to Twitter a classic quip from game developers, suggesting that something is in the works.
So I just asked the boys from capcom when RE6 the game comes out and they said… “hahahahahaha! It’s confidential”.
The news stacks up with other developments which appeared over the weekend. Voice actor Joe Cappelletti recently updated his online CV to include Resident Evil 6 as one of his latest projects. Cappelletti also mentions a number of other titles – including Call of Duty: Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3, Uncharted 3 and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – alongside two other non-confirmed Capcom titles.
After the media jumped all over this snippet of information, Cappelletti swiftly removed his entire credits page from his website, leaving only screenshots and rumours in his wake.
